Hi from Boyne City Michigan
It,s Sunday, June 8th and we are leaving tomorrow for the Upper Peninsula.
We left Jackson Center Ohio on Fri , May 30. with a new Refrigerator and a slide that held out the elements. We enjoyed our time there. They have a nice camping area and you stay in your rv from 3:30 til 7AM. then you can stay in there lounge while the work on your coach. They did a geat job.
JACKSON CENTER OHIO -----------------------------------------------------------

Our next stop was Monroe, Michigan about 3 hours north. We spent 2 nights with our good friends Charlotte and Jim Lovelace. Monroe is close to Lake Erie and a beautiful vibrant city. Mickey had a ball with Jack , Meggie, Andy, and Max. He couldn't wait to get inside to play with them. We enjoyed going to the lake and Norm got to help Jim with their daughters horses. All the new experiences we are having are great!!!

SOME OF MICKEYS FRIENDS

From Monroe it was up to Elk Rapids for a little TR reunion With the Millers and the Burkharts. Elk Rapids is a beautiful little village on Elk Lake, with few people in the winter and lots of summer homes and boats. We went out on the lake in Millers pontoon boat where Scorchy fished for real fish and the rest of us fished for golf balls. Gene has a neat contraption for this chore. We were the winners with 2 golf balls (one was a practice ball)!
The guys golfed and the ladies spent some time in all the lovely shops in between the touring and eating!! We learned that in Michigan you are always close to clear CLEAR water!!

Next stop will be Boyne City
